Two exciting series of Bible Studies with outstanding teaching to help you in your understanding of the Word of God.

“Building the Kingdom” – six studies in the Book of Nehemiah with Peter Davies.
Peter Davies until recently was a lecturer in Old Testament Studies and Hermeneutics at Regents Bible College. He is an outstanding bible teacher and will base his studies on the first part of the Book of Nehemiah.

The studies will take place on 13th, 20th and 27th September and 11th, 18th and 25th October.

“Luke’s Christmas” – four studies on the first two chapters of the Gospel of Luke with Christopher Byworth.

Christopher Byworth is a retired Church of England minister now living near Rainford and helping out at the lively church of St Paul's, Skelmersdale. He used to be Rector of St Helens Parish Church and was for many years very active in churches working together to proclaim Christ in St Helens through SHINE. He met Mike Kerry through this and especially during Merseyfest. Before Christopher was Rector of St Helens, he was in an urban Liverpool parish. He is married to Ruth, another retired minister. They have 10 grandchildren! Much of Christopher's ministry has been as a bible teacher, specialising in the New Testament. He and Ruth have travelled to virtually every place mentioned in the bible. They also lead tours there most years. They are ancient history 'freaks'. They taught at Billinge Family Church a course on understanding the bible not so long ago. Christopher looks forward to returning to open up the longest account of Jesus' birth as it is told in Luke's gospel chapters one and two. The four Sunday evenings start on November 22nd and conclude on December 13th.
